Emily and Austin Steichen, of Spirit Lake, IA., announce the birth of their first child, Hendrick Otto Steichen. Hendrick was born January 12, 2015, 11:50 a.m., at Lakes Regional Hospital in Spirit Lake, Iowa. Hendrick weighed 7 lbs. 6 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long at birth. Grandparents are Tamara and Randy Oettchen of Gladbrook and Suanne and Dan Steichen of Remsen. Great grandparents are Caroline and Herbert Oettchen of Gladbrook.
