Rob and Laura Thomas, of Grinnell, are the parents of a son, Micah Robert, born at home at 1:04 a.m. on Saturday, April 28, weighing 8 pounds 1 ounce and measuring 20 1/2 inches long. He joins brothers Jacob and Isaiah, and sisters Grace, Abigail, Esther, Naomi and Anna. Grandparents are Shirley and Steve Thomas, of Marshalltown, and Mary and Pete Lyon, of Toledo. Great-grandparents are Merle Frericks, of Gladbrook; Margaret Lyon, of Toledo, and Coleen and Rex Hoskey, of Toledo.
