Rob and Laura Thomas, of Grinnell, are the parents of a son, Isaiah Steven, born at home at 2:20 a.m. on Nov. 3, weighing 8 pounds, 8 ounces and measuring 19.5 inches long. Welcoming Isaiah home are big brother Jacob and big sisters: Grace, Abigail, Esther, Naomi and Anna. Grandparents are Mary and Pete Lyon, of Toledo, and Shirley and Steve Thomas, of Marshalltown. Great-grandparents are Margaret Lyon, of Toledo, Coleen and Rex Hoskey, of Toledo, Betty Thomas, of Marshalltown, and Merle Frericks, of Gladbrook.
