Jane Frericks was hostess to the first meeting of the new year of Alpha Study Club which met at Spanky’s on January 28. President Pat Clausen opened the meeting reading a Self Care quote by Robyn L. Gobin. Fourteen members answered roll call. The Secretary’s and Treasurer’s reports were read and approved. Pat Clausen and Pat Goos along with Marcia Plett will work on changes to the Constitution. Deb Wentzien reviewed the book “Suck Your Stomach In and Put Some Color On by Shellie Rushing Tomlinson. The meeting adjourned with a reading of Kindness by Padraig O’Morain. The February meeting will be at Spanky’s at 1:30 with Shirley Young as hostess.
