The Alpha Christmas Luncheon was held on December 10, 2019 at Sweets on Main in Traer. Lunch consisted of lasagne, garlic bread, salad and ice cream. Cost was $14.00 with drink, tax and tip included. After lunch, Bonnie read the story “A Place for Santa” and also had a figurine depicting the story. Bev Espenscheid gave a program on Christmas Decorating where we learned to use unusual items and gave many tips on decorating. Afterwards we could shop at the Retro Rooster next door if we chose to. There are many interesting items in the shop run by Bev and Sandy Wilson. Our next meeting will be January 28, 2020 at Spanky’s. The hostess will be Jane Frericks and Deb Wentzien will review the book “Songs of America.
