President Marcy called the January 9th women’s club meeting to order at Spanky’s. Twenty members answered roll call by sharing what they did for Christmas and when they take Christmas decorations down. The secretary’s minutes and treasurer’s report were approved as given. The Corn Carnival centennial cookbook status was updated. Recipe forms will be ready for contributors to start copying their recipes in the near future. The plan is to have the cookbooks ready to sell by November of 2021. New business included setting a date for the Spring lunch. Last year was the first year for this fun salad bar lunch . Tickets will be available from all the women’s club members. Reserve April 26th for a great meal and socializing. A tentative date was set for Holiday Happenings contingent on building availability. There were no birthdays for January. Two members were wished happy anniversary. With no further business, meeting was adjourned. Hostesses Arlene, Marcy, and Margaret served a tasty variety of quick breads and coffee.
