On the last month of 2019, The Garwin Modern Homemakers met at Spanky’s, in Gladbrook, for lunch and OUR regular monthly meeting. Lunch was meatloaf, cheesy potatoes, 7 layer salad and choice of drinks and choices of desserts. Elaine had us do the Pledge of Allegiance, then we had roll call by Elaine Upah – – –“What do you look forward to in the next year?” Minutes of the last meeting were then read by Elaine. Elaine then read “Four Stages of Life” and “Three Stages of Marriage”. She also did ” What is your movie I.Q.? We had near zero I.Q. Presents for our Secret Pals was then passed out. Each opened theirs and all were enjoyed and then some. We then visited until heading for our homes.
