Gladbrook Junior Auxiliary

The Gladbrook Jr. Auxiliary enjoyed presenting their annual Christmas program to the Gladbrook Legion and Auxiliary on Wed., Dec. 11th. After the meal, the Jrs. performed the skit “Santa’s Workshop” written by Jackie Sherman. The elves were busy finishing up all the tasks that had to be done before Christmas eve. But they took the time to thank the veterans for all the freedoms they enjoy. The fun-loving reindeer passed out Christmas bows to all the veterans present to wear on their heads!! As we all know the story Rudolph wasn’t accepted by the other reindeer because of his bright red nose. But Santa needed him that Christmas Eve because of the fog, so then all the reindeers loved Rudolph. The Jrs. had fun singing “Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer”. After the skit, everyone joined in singing carols by candlelight. The Jrs. will be enjoying their own Christmas show party on Dec. 27th. They will see the movie “Frozen 2” at the Gladbrook Theater. The show party is a treat from the Unit. Juniors present were: Back Row (l-r) Maya Goos, Stella Betts, Sydney Vavroch, Adelyn Sienknecht, and Kenzie Bartel. Front Row: Jordan Sherman, Alaney Sienknecht, Bryleigh Bartel, Carlee Smith, Kinley Miller, and Brayla Davis.
