The Gladbrook Women’s Club met Thursday, January 12th with 18 members attending. President Shirley Young called the meeting to order with the secretary and treasurer reports read and approved. Correspondence was read. Unfinished business included Holiday Happenings and thoughts on how we could make it less work for the members. The April Senior Citizen dinner will be held on our regular meeting date, Thursday, April 13th, at the Memorial Building. Birthdays and anniversaries were read for January. President Shirley closed with a poem. Following the meeting Vice-president Avriel led in several games. Hostesses Pat Goos, Marcy and Suzanne served a refreshing lime green salad with crackers and peanuts along with a hot and cold drink.
