Gladbrook Public Library-Greetings from The Gladbrook Public Library

Hope you all had a Wonderful Holiday Season!! We were Closed Monday, Jan 2nd, but were able to start our New Traveling Story Hour on Wednesday, the 4th. Beth headed up to Crayon Corner Preschool and a Private Daycare, while I stayed at the Library to read stories to the Littles that braved the cold with their Moms. It was a fun day had by all! We plan on continuing with this “Divide and Conquer” Process throughout Jan and Feb to best suit the needs of our kiddos! We started out this week on Monday, Jan 9th with our Adult Crafting Club making Mason Jar Snow Globes. We have such Creative people in our group, as they used trees, deer, signs, Santas, etc. to create beautiful winter scenes in their Jars. They turned out so Adorable! Our Next Craft Day will be Monday, January 23rd. Next up will be Something Special for Valentine’s Day …. And Remember that New Crafters are ALWAYS Welcome! NEW Club Offered: We are starting a NEW Crochet Club beginning Tues., Jan 17th from 3:30-5:00 pm for anyone who is interested; From Novice to Beginner, this will be FUN for All to get together and enjoy getting “Hooked” on this Hobby of Handiwork! Bring your scissors, yarn, hooks, patterns and latest projects to work on… I’ll even have the Coffee on for you!
