This Past Week… Snowflakes in the Air … Fun is Everywhere! Especially when you Visit your Favorite Local Library in Gladbrook! Monday was an Awesome Craft Day, as we used Old Book Pages to Create Christmas Masterpieces! Some chose to make Book “Trees” and “Snowmen” from Entire Books, while some used Torn Pages for Ornaments & Cards! Next Craft Day will be Monday, Dec. 12th at 2 pm! Wednesday’s Story Hour was Seuss-tastic! The Kiddos enjoyed Listening to the Stories… The Cat in the Hat and What Pet Should I Get?, Playing “Pinning the Hat on the Cat”, “Thing One and Thing Two Bingo” and Going on a S“cat”venger Hunt around the Library. They had their Seuss Hat Snacks, too while Coloring their Pages to take home, too! During the Gladbrook Tree Lighting, Beth and I Read Stories in the Whooville Library to the Good Boys and Girls in Town… Yes, we Were Dressed in our Finest “Who” Costumes, too! What FUN!! Be sure to Check out our Seuss Christmas Tree in the City Centre during the Festival of Trees based on the Book, Oh the Places You’ll Go! A Special Thank You The Gladbrook Library has been given a Signed Copy of The Story of a Beloved World Traveler… Al Bell Remembered by Becky Bell-Greenstreet. Becky is Al and Rhea Bell’s second daughter and a retired teacher/lifelong musician.
