The annual Busch Reunion was held Sunday, September 18, 2016 at the Meskwaki Casino Buffet with 24 present. Oldest was Marj Luethje and youngest was Kai Upah, 8-month old son of Jamie and Lonnie Upah. Two deaths were noted, Marvin Ohrt of Clutier and Loren Luethje of Gladbrook. Towns represented were Tempe, Arizona, Norwalk, Gladbrook, Marshalltown, Montezuma, Toledo, Union, and Waterloo. Three first cousins present were Florence Wrage, Ethel Lucht, and Phylis Wessely.
