Garwin Public Library

Garwin Library News It’s hard to write happy things about my library with my heart so sad for Beth. I would love to reach out to her with comfort, so someone let me know how to contact her. This school year snacks will be the same, Wednesday afternoon only. Food must be eaten in the library at the table area only. I have missed a lot of my kids this summer, this is not to say our library is empty, it never is. I have gotten several new kids and adult patrons over the summer. Our picnic tables are here and i’m waiting to hear from McCalls on the engineering. They were supposed to call me back today, but must have forgotten. I have added some new authors who are great! Fredrik Backman’s book “A Man Called Ove” is a great one. “The Misremembered Man” trilogy by Christina McKenna is super. “I Shall Be Near You” is a story of a newly married young girl who missed her husband so bad, that she dresses as a man and joins the Civil War to be with him. Based on true life during the Civil War, with a handshake as a physical, it made it easy to get in.
