Gladbrook Public Library
Library Newsletter Can you believe this off and on weather? i’m sure we’ll all be glad when it settles down. First we need to let you know of a change in our hours. Be sure and put it down on the refrigerator for story hour. Every Thursday at 10:00 a.m. there will be a story hour for the little ones. We hope to get enough interest so the kids can have a little break in the morning. National Library week is coming up, the 10th to the 16th. This is also National Poetry Month. I think everyone will like this. You can really show off your talents! We are very happy to announce our $1500 grant from the Tama County Community Foundation. It will be used for the improvement of the teen and children’s area in the library. A big thanks for that. Also we want to thank the Women’s Club, Commercial Club, and donation from the lynch family. We are always striving to make improvements for the library so people enjoy coming. We will be getting more new books in shortly so keep checking with us. Be sure and check with Facebook for any new programs and fun things coming up. Our new librarian Beth is real good at that. Let us know if you have any suggestions on new books and authors that we can share with the patrons. Hope to see you drop in often and see what’s going on here.
