Garwin Library News There’s going to be a change at the library concerning the after school snack program. First I will say I love all the children but the program has become out of control with children just coming for food and leaving, up to 40 some days. After a meeting with the board, teachers, mayor and concerned citizens we came up with this plan. Snacks on Wed. afternoon only. Snacks have to be eaten in the library in the table area. NO take outs means no spills or garbage outside. You are welcome everyday to visit and use the wi-fi, you may also check out books and DVD’s hint. The friends group is growing but we can always use more help. I’m excited about our front yard being made into a usable memorial area. You can always dig up one of your own plants to add to the flower garden or place a memorial stone for someone you love. I didn’t get my full grant of $1,800 but I got $1,000. The coffee ladies have put in $200.00. I’m guessing the project at $2,500. We are about halfway there. Stop in and see our wonderful library
