Come see us at the library after Christmas for a selection of new books and movies! We will be open New Years Eve from 9-12; Closed New Years Day; closed on Saturday the 2nd. Friday Coffee will start again on January 8th. Mark your calendars for January 19th….it’s National Popcorn Day at the library. Head into the library for some popcorn and check out some books. For the kids we will be doing a craft and of course eating some popcorn. A time for the crafts has not been set yet so stay tuned either through the newspaper or come like our facebook page, Gladbrook Public Library, for information as it comes out. We do have some excellent books hitting our shelves. The Book With No Pictures will be sure to make your kids laugh out loud as you read it to them and be prepared because it will do the same to you. Saint Anything, Rebel Spring, and Game Changers are a couple of new additions to our Young Adult and Junior Fiction section. The Adult section includes some biographies, thrillers, romance, and humorous fiction. Here are just a few titles to come check out: Me Before You (which is being made into a movie), The Relic Master, and Boys In The Trees.
