The Dutch went 15-18 on the year, winning their first seven matches, the best start since the 1999 national championship squad. Central finished 1-6 in Iowa Conference play and ended the season in seventh place in the conference standings. Middle hitter Jenna Dille (sophomore, Carlisle) was named an all-conference honorable mention and was awarded the team’s Most Improved Award. The team’s Most Valuable Player was awarded to outside hitter Nicole Ewoldt (junior, Hull/Boyden-Hull HS). Coach Kent Clayberg awarded 17 varsity letters at the team’s recent awards banquet with 15 letterwinners slated to return in 2016.
