Gladbrook Auxiliary members had fun making popcorn balls for the Santa Sacks. This has been a very long standing tradition that the Gladbrook Santa Sacks include a popcorn ball. 400 balls were made. We would like to thank Lincoln Savings Bank for donating the popcorn and oil. The Gladbrook Santa Sacks are a project of the Gladbrook Commercial Club. The Auxliary makes the popcorn balls, the apples and peanuts are donated by Grundy County Memorial Hospital, and the M&Ms and candy canes are donated by the Commercial Club. The Gladbrook Women’s Club does the sacking and the Gladbrook Young Women and Santa Claus have all the fun of passing out the “Sacks”.
