On October 12, the Gladbrook Gals & Guys were one of the 4-H clubs to host a Find Out Night in Gladbrook. Local clubs got together to provide information to anyone interested in finding out more about 4-H and the local clubs. Visitors and members enjoyed crafts, laughs and good food. On October 18, Gladbrook Gals and Guys had a very busy day to start off their year. First, a group of officers went to Tama County’s Officer Training at Otter Creek. The four girls learned about team-building skills as they were entered into the Hunger Games. They learned to do fun activities like building a popsicle stick bridge, morse code, archery, and knot tying. They also learned more about their positions in their club and their responsibilities. Also that night, the Gladbrook Gals and Guys hosted their annual potluck, highlights being the induction of new members and officers. At the meeting, there were 28 members and 23 adults present. New members pictured are Stella, Sydney, Lily, Adelyn, Ethan. This year’s officers include Rachael K. & Justina (photographers), Brianna (reporter), Emilee (treasurer), Sadie (vice president), Madeline (president), Rachael S. (secretary), and Cooper & Thomas (historians). The Gladbrook Gals and Guys are looking forward to another successful year!
