Garwin Public Library
News from the Garwin Library We are thrilled to announce that we now have own safe entry to the library. Thank you City of Garwin and Claude for building it, we love it. I’m asking all of you that read on kindles or nooks to let me know if you would like the library to carry this service. It cost $300.00 a year for the library to provide books this way and I would need to know if there are enough people interested in this service to justify the cost. You can call the library or visit our facebook page, The Garwin Library, to let me know. November 5th will be our second anniversary already and I still love our new building and the services we are able to provide with this large building. Thank you to all of you that donate in the can at Pronto it paid for a cupboard full of after school snacks for the kids. New DVD’s are “Tammy” , “Boxtrolls”, and ‘The Hunger Games-Mockingjay“. I’m on the 3rd book in Peter May’s trilogy and I love every book “The Blackhouse“, “The Lewis Man“, and now “The Cheeseman”. The mystery will grab you in the first few pages of the book, no waiting till the middle. Lola Slingluff, Library Director
