The August membership brunch for the Gladbrook Auxiliary welcomed members to the Memorial Bldg from 9-11am on Monday, August 10. This is the start of another Auxiliary year for us with an introduction to the theme, slogan and plans for 2015-16. The slogan is “Honoring our Veterans, Past, Present and Future”, symbol red, white and blue stars. Our new state president is Tammy Wright of Swisher. Our dues are now ready to be collected, we have your renewal cards and dues are still $20 for seniors and $3 for Junior members. Please send them on to Jolene Denbow at 705 Grand St, Gladbrook Ia 50635.Or Jeanne will collect them at Peace Church Renewal notices from National probably won’t be sent out until late September, but we would like to get a start on this collection project. New members are always welcome and if interested and have questions….we are full of answers. The Auxiliary continues to be a very active patriotic organization in our community focusing its efforts on helping our Veterans, their children and the community.
