TIME OUT

December 18th saw the Rebels travel south to play South Tama. The Rebels came out really flat in this game and spotted the Trojans a 29-9 first quarter lead. The Rebels were able to get it together after that! I thought we probably strung together three of our best quarters of the year as we outscored South Tama 63-54 the rest of the way! Unfortunately the first 8 minutes were our undoing and we lost the game by the score of 83-72. We need to figure out how to play a full game if we are going to put W’s in the book!

As I have said before the Rebels are running our system really well. This game saw us get up 101 shots with 41 of those being 3-point attempts. That is the offensive balance that we are looking for. If we can get the ball to go in for just a little better percentage good things will start to happen for this team!

Taylor Flamme led all scorers with 18 points. Emily Snider finished with 16, Erin Wentzien 10, Nicole Adair 8, Hayley Weber 7, Britney Keller 5, Ellie Stoakes 4, Hanna Christopher 2, and Amber Berendes 2.

Because of the snowstorm our game with Hudson on December 21st was cancelled. It has been rescheduled for Monday February 4th.
