Obituary

Curtis L. Adair, 69, of Reinbeck, passed away on Friday, October 29, 2010 at his home in Reinbeck, while under the care of the Cedar Valley Hospice. Funeral services were held on Monday, November 1st, 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Reinbeck with Pastor Terry Plocher officiating. Visitation was held on Sunday, October 31st from 4 to 6 p.m. at French-Hand Funeral Home in Reinbeck. Burial followed funeral services at the Reinbeck Cemetery in Reinbeck. Curt was born on July 6, 1941, on a farm southeast of Reinbeck to his parents Merlin and Jeanette (Stumberg) Adair. He graduated from Reinbeck High School in 1959 and has been a lifelong Reinbeck resident. Curt worked as a foreman for PCI, retiring in 2007.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church. Curt loved fishing and boating and camping. He was dedicated to his work and loved his job and the people he worked with.

Curt is survived by his parents Merlin and Jeanette Adair of Reinbeck; children Steven “Buddy” (Helen) Adair of Reinbeck, Shelli (Ron) Reab of Hudson and Trevis (Jen) Adair of Marion, Iowa; granddaughters Heidi, Holli and Hayli Reab, Nicole and Paige Adair and Lauren and Emily Adair; sister Bea (Dale) Greiner of Reinbeck.
