Doris Severson

Doris Severson, 91, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, formerly of Gladbrook, died Saturday, April 17 at the Good Samaritan Nursing Care Facility in Hot Springs. Doris is survived by her son, Doug Gethmann of Gladbrook, four grandchildren, Whitney Hunt of Marshalltown, Marc Gethmann of Marshalltown, Darcy (Randy) Stocker of Atlanta and Travis Gethmann of Marshalltown. She is also survived by three great grandchildren, Andrea Stocker and Michael Stocker of Atlanta and Ryan Hunt of Marshalltown. In death she will rejoin her husband Eugene (Bud) Severson and daughter Linda Handorf. She will be laid to rest next to Bud in Bethlehem Cemetery in Slater, Iowa. A private family service is planned.
