Driver lost control on the gravel and enteedr the south ditch, striking a utility pole. The owner later tried towing the vehicle and put it in the north ditch. Citation issued for FAILURE TO MAINTAIN CONTROL. No injury. Investigated by GRUNDY COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE.

2.WILLIAM SPEICHER, age 42, Conrad. Arrested April 19, 2020 at his home on a Grundy County warrant charging him with PROBATION VIOLATION. Posted bond and released. LISA SPEICHER, age 42, Conrad. Arrested April 19. 2020 at her home on a Grundy County charging her with PROBATION VIOLATION. Being held in lieu of bond. Both arrested by GRUNDY COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE.

3. Two vehicle accident April 20,2020, 6:30 PM in Reinbeck. Driver 1: RICHARD LOCKHART, age 59, Reinbeck. Driving 2018 Ford. Estimated damage $800. Driver 2: CHARLES CLAYTON, age 28, Reinbeck. Driving 1998 Dodge. Estimated damage $1000. #2 was southbound on Commercial St approaching the intersection with Main St. #1 was westbound on Main St approaching Commercial St and slowed for a yield sign. #1 rolled through the yield sign and began turning right to continue through the jogged intersection onto 2nd St as #2 entered the intersection. The front driver’s side corner of #2 struck the drive’s side door of #2. No summons, no injury. Investigated by GRUNDY COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE’

4. One vehicle accident April 20, 2020, 7:08 PM on Hwy 175 west of K Ave. Driver: LISA RIDER, age 55, Waterloo. Driving 2015 Jeep. Estimated damage $7000. Vehicle was northbound through a curve when a deer entered the roadway and was struck. No summons, no injury. Investigated by GRUNDY COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE.
