Tuesday, December 11th, G-R 8th grade Boys Basketball team hosted our western neighbor’s BCLUW and G-R won the contest 58-9, now 3-0 overall. In this game all 9 G-R players scored. Leading the Rebels were two players worth special mention as both player’s shot a blistering 80% from the floor, were: Joe Smoldt 23 points game (had 21 pts at half)and he still has not missed from free throw this season and a team high 4 steals game, plus Matt Roeding 16 points and a team high 12 rebound night. Thomas Mussig 5 points, Tyler Pierce 4 pts, Eric Knaack 2 points and a team high 5 assists game, Jaden McGhee 3 pts, Jed Peterson 2 pts, Alex Tscherter 2 pts, and Spencer Goos 2 pts, I truly encourage every G-R fan/citizen to come watch us play. Jan 8th at Gladbrook vs. W. Marshall, Jan 10th at Gladbrook vs. AGWSR, Jan 14 at Grundy Center, Jan 15th at Union, Jan 17th at Radcliffe, Jan 22 at Gladbrook vs. East Marshall, our final game is Jan 28th at Gladbrook vs. A-P, with starting time of 4:15p.m. for 8th graders, and 7th grade boys game to follow.
