She flies, she glides, she’s amazing! Who is this talent young trackster I’m writing about, none other than GMG’s senior, athlete extraordinaire, Ms. Emily Havelka. Emily broke her own school record, Tuesday, April 24, at Dike during the Simon Relays. This new record was in the 400M Hurdles.  Emily ran a 1:07.58 time, breaking her old school record of 1:07.77.   Emily, daughter of Bill and Linda Havelka, will be greatly missed next year in our sports departments. Emily excels in volleyball, softball, basketball, cheerleading, and track. She has been a tremendous asset academically also. Congratulations, on this new record. We are extremely proud of you at GMG!
