ISU Extension Specialist Jesse Randall will be at the Grundy Center Community Center June 18, 2014 from 6 p.m. 8 p.m. to present a program on dealing with new and old windbreaks. Class is open to the public and all are invited to participate in this two hour class.

This program is devoted to educating landowners on the value of windbreaks, how to design and select trees for a new windbreak, how to plant and maintain trees, what to look for in old windbreaks in terms of disease and insects and cost share programs available to the public to help with new windbreaks. Participants are encouraged to bring photos and samples to have their questions answered on site.
