Members of the Gladbrook UMC traveled to Indianola, IA. on Thursday, April 30th. They did so to visit with Rev Howard Lord and wife Wilma. Rev Lord was appointed to the Gladbrook UMC during the 1980’s. He and Wilma retired to the The Village, a residential center for Senior Citizens. After sharing coffee cake and swapping stories the group was able to tour the residence and dine in Indianola. There were sixteen members in the visiting group along with Rev Lord, Wilma, their son and a great-grandchild.
