The Gladbrook Gals and Guys met at the Gladbrook Middle School to make T-braids. Members started at 6:00 am and started making the dough. We let the dough rise while having our meeting. The new members learned how to form and braid the dough. Everybody enjoyed decorating the T-braid! The Gladbrook Gals & Guys started out our day sponsoring food at Spanky’s Auction at the Fairgrounds. Several members cooked and sold a variety of food items. Later that evening we sponsored a Mini Prom, at the Memorial Building, the theme was Candyland. The girls wore very beautiful dresses. The members decorated the entire room, they filled glass bowls with various candy, that the people at the prom could eat throughout the night. Member also decorated a bright colored candy photo booth. On May 18th Gladbrook Gals and Guys met in front of the memorial building. We learned how to plant and received information about the various types of flowers that we planted. We continued after that and filled 13 more planters along Main Street and infront of a few business in Gladbrook. Our next adventure will take place at Adventureland on June 15th. This is also the date the Tama County Fair entries are do the extension office.
