The last day to file nomination papers for county offices to be included on the ballot for the General Election to be held on November 8, 2016, is approaching. This includes non-political party organization candidates and candidates nominated by petition as well as Democratic and Republican parties’ nominations to fill ballot vacancies. A list of offices for which there is no nominee has been forwarded to the county party chairpersons for Grundy County. Nomination petitions must be filed in the office of the Grundy County Auditor by 5:00 P.M. on August 31, 2016.
