Each year the Gladbrook American Legion Auxiliary presents a Citizenship Award to a 8th grade student. The students are nominated by the staff based on their exemplary personal characteristics of respect, responsibility, trustworthiness, cooperation, and caring for others. Gladbrook Legion Auxiliary Americanism Chairman Lisa Reinhard presented Ashley Sieh, daughter of Eric and Sarah Sieh of Reinbeck, the 2012 Gladbrook Auxiliary Citizenship Award. Ashley’s name was engraved on the plaque which will be displayed at the G-R Middle School.
